Next event ~ Sat. 21st March 2026 Year 3/4 Championships...

A huge thank you to all the schools who attended the pre-event meeting on Monday 26th January at Parish Primary School to discuss this term's Y3/4 cross-country event. Over fifty schools were represented at our meeting and we are expecting a big turnout at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 21st March.

Because of the developments in Crystal Palace Park, we have moved the Start/Finish areas to the bottom ‘cricket field’ off Thicket Road.

Also, due to the more restricted access to the park at this time and other logistical challenges we are facing, we are continuing to limit the number of chidren schools can enter in each race. Teams will be limited to 4 runners per race for small schools, 6 runners for medium size schools and 8 runners for large schools.

We will be looking to increase numbers taking part in future events following a thorough evaluation of this March’s meeting.

Maps of the new course and Start/Finish details can be found here.

Many congratulations to Blackheath and Bromley runner, Sam Reardon, for winning an Olympic bronze medal with the GB 4x400m mixed relay team in Paris. Well done, Sam!!!

We would very much like, as an association, to support Lymphoma Action in memory of Andrew Coe. Any individual, or school, wishing to make a contribution to this very worthy cause can do so here...
